It was a perfect night for photos with A, that was until mom broke her toe earlier today!!! We already rescheduled once and she was determined that we were going to get this session in. A was perfect, well behaved and smiled so cute.

Yup she's a Jersey girl but mom and dad were certainly not!! It was by luck (and a good friend) that I was able to spend time with little princess G this morning. She shares her birthday with the Royal Baby so maybe one day she will grow up to be the queen. I just melt when they smile at me.

Sunny Sunday Morning Newborn Girl [Essex NJ Newborn Photographer]

I couldn't think of a better way to calm my nerves after visiting day at my son's camp then spending my morning with 8 day old baby E. She was quiet the party animal and just didn't want to miss a thing. We got some gorgeous shots of her beautiful blue eyes and then I worked my magic and helped her fall asleep for the rest of her session. The heat continues here so outside we went for our basket shot.

The only good thing about 96 degree weather is being able to take a newborn baby outside nakey and in a basket. Please meet baby L. I have watched this family grow by doing family portraits with her older brother the past three years. I am beyond happy for them!!!

Chunkiest Cake Smasher EVER!!! [Essex NJ First Birthday Photographer, Cake Smash]

Happy Birthday M!!! Today was his actual birthday and after many parties all weekend it was time for his official cake smash. Not too many smiles but he was sporting his chubby rolls for sure!!! I think we were most entertained when he was eating the cake off of his foot.

It's cooler by the water [Essex NJ Family Photographer]

It's hot and humid here in NJ. I seriously have been loosing weight from sweating during my shoots. Yes I work hard moving and running around but come on, the humidity has to break!!! I had a great time with this family tonight. I told mom at the beginning of the session that her daughter would want to come home with me by the time we were done and sure enough she asked me to come for ice cream with her and come over. I have two boys but I often connect with girls and tonight proved it. I must say the shot of their son was my first frame and I knew from that moment it was going to be a gorgeous shoot!!!

The bets laid plans.... yeah our meeting spot was let's say, a little crowded. It's an unused picinic area and the large one is under construction so I guess that's why they were moved down the road. So through all the yelling over the loud music we still captured some beautiful family images.

So maybe a 7 mile run wasn't the best idea before my newborn shoot but I have got to train. As usual I directed mom to turn off the A/C so baby is warm when nakey but boy were we in for it on this scorcher of a day. Baby Z certainly made me sweat but I PROMISE it was well worth it.
